How to play Audible audiobooks on SanDisk Clip Jam?

The bright one inch screen and big navigation buttons make it easy to drag, drop and play files in popular audio formats including Audible.

Option 1 Transfer Audible audiobooks to SanDisk Clip Jam with AudibleSync app

SanDisk Clip Jam is able to play audio files in lots of formats (MP3 WMA (no DRM) AAC (DRM free iTunes) and Audible (DRM only)). To transfer Audible audiobooks to SanDisk Clip Jam, you need to activate it with the AudibleSync app first.

There is no AudibleSync app available for Mac computers. In order to transfer Audible files using a Mac you must first Activate the SanDisk MP3 player on a Windows PC using AudibleSync app. Once the SanDisk MP3 player has been activated you can transfer Audible content from any computer by simply dragging and dropping the Audible file to the Audible folder of your SanDisk MP3 player.

Step 1 Download, install and run AudibleSync app

Step 2 Activate SanDisk Clip Jam

1. Open the AudibleSync app.
2. Sign into your account, if you haven't already.
3. Connect the SanDisk Clip Jam to your computer.
4. Click on the device icon on the left side of the screen.
5. Click on Activate Device .
6. Enter your Audible/Amazon account information.

Step 3 Transfer audiobook to SanDisk Clip Jam

1. Connect the SanDisk Clip Jam to your computer using the USB cable.
2. Sign into your account, if you haven't already.
3. Select Open device to view files using Windows Explorer on the CLIP JAMS icon.
4. Double-click on the device icon on the left side of the screen.
5. Double-click on the Audible folder.
6. Drag and drop Audible files from your computer to the player's Audible folder.

Option 2 Convert Audible audiobooks to MP3

If you don't have a Windows 10, or AudibleSync can't recognize your Sandisk Clip Jam, don't worry, use option 2.
